A Council for Those Who Have Already Arrived
LumenOak is a selective, private membership council for ultra-high-net-worth entrepreneurs, wealth creators, and single-family office principals. It is not a networking group, a deal-sharing platform, or an investment product. It is a confidential forum where members gather in small, curated groups of twelve to fifteen peers to share candid dialogue on the questions that come after success.
Whether the challenge is preserving a multi-generational family enterprise, navigating a cross-border tax shift, evaluating an illiquid allocation, or simply finding peers who understand the unique weight of significant wealth, members bring their real decisions to the table. There is no product to sell, no agenda to advance, and no intermediation. Just the honest exchange of perspectives among people who have earned the right to be in the room.
What Members Receive
Membership in LumenOak is structured around three core pillars, designed to complement rather than replace the relationships members already have with their existing advisors.
Confidential Monthly Group Meetings. Each member belongs to a single group of 12-15 peers. Groups meet monthly for a structured half-day immersive session facilitated by a Chair, following a rigorous agenda: portfolio and wealth perspectives, member challenges, world events, and expert insights. The conversation is candid because the environment is completely private. There is no selling, no solicitation, and no conflict of interest.
Curated Global Intelligence. Members receive a monthly intelligence brief covering the issues that matter to private wealth holders: shifts in family office governance, cross-border tax and trust developments, investment perspectives from respected allocators, philanthropic and legacy trends, and the quieter signals that quietly reshape high-level decisions.
Annual and Quarterly Gatherings. Beyond the monthly meeting, members come together for expert-led sessions on specific topics, intimate social gatherings in major financial centres, and an annual retreat that brings the wider membership together.
Who It Is For
LumenOak is for individuals, families, and principals who have created or inherited significant wealth, and who recognise that managing it well is a discipline distinct from the work that created it. Typical members include entrepreneurs and founders following a liquidity event, principals of single-family offices, next-generation inheritors assuming governance, and senior investors who have moved from operating to stewarding their own capital.
Membership is evaluated through a careful review process. Every prospective member is vetted for character, contribution, capacity, and a willingness to embrace the absolute confidentiality and non-solicitation that make the format work. The vetting is rigorous because the value of every conversation depends on the integrity of the room.
What LumenOak Is Not
There are several things LumenOak is not, and stating them plainly helps clarify what it is.
- It is not a fund and does not manage capital. Members remain in full control of their own investment decisions.
- It is not a placement agent and does not introduce members to specific deals. When interesting opportunities arise, members evaluate them through their own independent processes.
- It is not a referral network. Members are not there to send business to each other or to extract professional introductions.
- It is not open to the public or to financial intermediaries. Membership is intended strictly for the principals themselves.
The Geography of the Council
LumenOak is headquartered in Hong Kong, a long-standing meeting point between East and West and one of the world's leading centres for private wealth management. Members are based across multiple financial centres and time zones, and the council is built to convene across borders rather than within a single city. The group is global by design; the conversations are deeply personal.
Membership Inquiries & Request for Invitation
LumenOak welcomes direct inquiries from entrepreneurs, qualified wealth creators, and single-family office principals, as well as introductions from existing members and trusted partner institutions.
The admissions process begins with a confidential inquiry submitted to the Secretariat or an initial dialogue with the Founder & Chairman. This is followed by a quiet, mutual due diligence process to ensure alignment in character, values, and privacy expectations before a formal invitation to join is extended.
If you recognise the value of a confidential room where you can bring your real questions, we invite you to connect with the Council to explore alignment or to request an invitation.
